Vegan Drama

Two months ago my brother decided to be a vegan. Cutting all meat, chicken, seafood and dairy products (eventough my mom still trying to convince him to consume fish).  I'm very surprised with his decision since I know how much my brother loves meat.

After my brother goes vegan, my dad eventually followed his step a.k.a ikut-ikutan 😆. Next day after facetiming with my brother, he went:

"Ri, I am a vegan now"

"How on earth you a vegan?! Uda-uda Sate Padang will cry!!"

"No No No, not gonna change my mind" He said proud

"Serah lah, I was a pescetarian for two years before I moved to Bandung. Nothing we can eat"

*lalala pretending not to hear what I am saying

First weekend after that:

"Ri, I've created a new vegetarian classification"

"What?"

"Flexitarian"

"....... I TOLD YOU SO"

Random Trip to Malang

Still in the euphoria of my brother is home for the next 2 week. Last Friday at 10pm, my Dad randomly suggested us for a weekend getaway. (Okay Ping I get it, you missed your son so bad. But come onnnn , it's 2 hours left until weekend!!!) Long story short, he is very lucky to have a kind and supportive daughter that always support him and his crazy idea (or am I crazy too?hahaha). So I made a quick reservation for flight and hotel via Traveloka and Booking.com. Being a lead arranger in most of office and best friend trips really improve my travel planning ability. If you guys needs any travel advice or itinerary ideas, please contact me kay! hahaha. All set except for car rental. I was like "well, I might be traveling expert but I know nothing about car rental" "no worries, we can take taxi from the airport" "does hotel rent car for city tour?" "how if we didn't get any car?" I am exhausted and zuperrr sleepy but traveling wit...

Why God Keep Me in Wait?

When it comes to marriage, there were times when I wonder why God keep me in wait while others are getting married in a flash. Not that I'm jealous with my friends who get married earlier, it's just a random thought, why? For me marriage has always been my top of mind. In high school where all my friends were busy choosing uni, I want to get married. In Uni where all my friends were anxious about job hunting, I want to get married. I always choose 21 years old whenever acquaintances/elder asked when is my marriage target. Don't even start with my friends, if somebody asked or joked "who's the first person to get married?" the definite answer always "Riri laaah!" Now that I'm 25 years old and proudly single, I'd watched lots of my dearest friends getting married before me. I promised myself to always be there to witness the most important days in my friends life no matter how busy I am (early flight, 12 hours train ride or 6 hours driv...
